A three-layer detection engine for Ethereum wallets, combining blacklist matching against ScamSniffer's scam database with a custom behavioural scoring system.

11-signal heuristic scoring that detects sweeper bots, Sybil attacks and Permit2 drain attacks.
Chain-aware signal routing across Ethereum L1 and L2s (Arbitrum, Optimism, Base), with era-specific gas thresholds and ERC-4337 paymaster griefing detection.
Automated wallet health classification and a 90-day behavioural recovery system across 100k+ on-chain transaction records.

Associate Data Engineer

Crimson Umbrella Technologies

Built a behavioural fraud-detection module for Ethereum wallets, scoring on-chain transaction patterns to flag compromised and drained wallets across L1 and L2 networks.
Wrote a Python replication job that copies production PostgreSQL data into dev and QA environments, keeping them in parity so testing runs against realistic data.

Jun 2025 — Jan 2026 Full-time · Lalitpur, Nepal

Data Engineer Associate Trainee

Crimson Umbrella Technologies

Built end-to-end ETL pipelines, including an asynchronous incremental pipeline in Python (AsyncIO) and MongoDB that cut API costs and raised processing throughput.
Built AWS Lambda-based monitoring for the data crawlers: status reports for every run and Discord alerts on failure, so broken pipelines were caught and debugged fast.
Indexed on-chain ledger logs and turned blockchain events into structured datasets, enabling analytics across 100k+ transaction records.
Worked across PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Microsoft Fabric and Web3 data sources, and on the first versions of the team's Ethereum fraud-detection modules.

Collaborated with a cross-functional team to test, debug and refine Django backend and React frontend code, reducing deployment-stage bug reports.

03 — Background

About Me

I'm a data engineer in Lalitpur, Nepal. Most of my work sits where messy sources meet systems that have to stay up — pipelines, schemas and the monitoring that tells you when something quietly broke.

From June 2025 to June 2026 I was at Crimson Umbrella Technologies, first as a trainee and then as an associate data engineer, working on asynchronous ETL, blockchain analytics and the PostgreSQL infrastructure behind them. Before that I spent a summer at Grafi Offshore Nepal on Django and React, learning how features actually get shipped rather than just written.

I'm drawn to the unglamorous parts: data validation, sync correctness, alerting that fires before a client notices. My most recent project pushed that into fraud detection, where being wrong has an immediate cost.
